Courts final match of the season was played out in hot conditions, Courts started brightly and soon took the lead through Anthony Bent applying a close finish. Soon after a Scuffle between Antony and one of Woodies resulted in both players being dismissed. It took until the end of the first half before Courts finally broke Woodies steady defending, Mike Creech with a quick through ball that was superbly dribbled into the box before Mike Woolley slid the ball home. Minutes later Tony Okeke broke away to stab home the third.
The Second Half courts kept up the tempo determined to finish the job. A superbly taken half volley by Adrian Thompson into the roof of the net made it 4-0. Soon after Mike Creech fizzed the ball from under his feet beyond the keepers despairing dive - 5-0. The game was soon up but Tony Okeke completed our season with probably the best goal of the season, some 35 yards out he curled a beauty into the top corner to make the final score 6-0.
Another clean sheet for Courts, with Keeper Chris Watson, defenders Scott Ogles, Len Akano, Dave Russell, Eddie Lewis and Michael Woolley proofing unstoppable and the platform that created a superb courts performance.
